School of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences

Established in 2018, the School of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences at AURO University is a leading institution offering multidisciplinary programs in English, Psychology, and Economics. Guided by the vision of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, the school integrates Integral Education into its curriculum, fostering well-rounded individuals who can lead in various fields.

The diverse curriculum includes courses ranging from history and philosophy to fine arts, sociology, public policy, and entrepreneurship, designed to cultivate thought leaders. Bachelor of Arts (3 years with exit options)

Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) (4 years with exit options)

Master of Arts - Psychology

Master of Arts- Economics

Course eligibility (BA Hons Program)

Successful completion of Class XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade. Students expecting their results by July 2019 may also apply for provisional admission

In case the student has received the Class XII certificate from abroad or has been an IB student and has received an IB diploma an equivalence certificate issued from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) must be attached with the application form

Course eligibility (MA Psychology Program)

A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related disciplines (e.g., Social Work, Human Development, or Sociology) from a recognized university under UGC

Candidates must secure at least 50-55% aggregate marks in their undergraduate degree

Course eligibility (MA Economics Program)

Graduation with a degree in B.A/B.A (Hons) in Economics with a minimum percentage of 50% at the level of graduation is required

Students with a graduation degree in other disciplines can also apply for MA Economics. However they would be required to complete one month, in person, bridge course in July 2025
