‘Youth Connect – 2019’ was held at Auro University under the aegis of Vibrant Gujarat 2019. Various youth icons came together on a single platform to discuss and deliberate upon various topics and guide the youth towards their dreams and progress. The Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare and Principal Secretary Mrs. Jayanti Ravi said, “The Vibrant Gujarat Global Business 2019 has the theme of ‘Shaping a New India’ which is based on the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘New India’. The summit will play a crucial role in helping realize the same. The Sprint-2022, the Africa Day, various national and state seminars along with a Buyer-Seller meet will take place during the summit.” “The Youth Connect-2019 is organized with the aim to deliberate upon various socio-economic aspects of development for the youth through an exchange of ideas in order to ensure their development in various fields such as industry, sports, and many others,” she added. Mr. Harmit Desai who is known for winning a Gold Medal in Table Tennis at the Commonwealth Games said, “Table tennis is my hobby as well as passion. I would not have been so successful if I had gone for an alternate career. Hence, it is necessary to realize your interest and passion in a field and move forward to achieve success in the same.” Mr. Dravya Dholakia of Harikrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. Surat said, “One must have an optimistic approach in life. Optimism is the first step towards success.” Research Coordinator and physician of Seva Rural Mr. Shrey Desai said, “A constant dedication towards your goal ought to reap sweet fruits.” A famous dentist and Harley Davidson biker from South Gujarat Mrs. Shital Shah said, “A woman is not only capable of managing a house but a country too. Women in the modern times are walking shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts in each and every field thereby creating an identity for themselves and leading by an example for others.” Founder of White Print Ms. Upasana said, “There is no age limit for doing social work. It is necessary to implement a worthy idea right away than waiting for a suitable time.” During the entire event, graffiti was being made by the students of School of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences and School of Journalism and Mass Communication of AURO University. An interactive Q&A session took place during the event and a large number of AURO students and youth participated in the same. Youth Connect 2019 was also held at Vadodara and Rajkot before being held at Surat. DDO Dr. Dhaval Patel, eminent experts and a large number of students attended the event.
