How To Apply?
1).Eligibility criteria for courses?
Common eligibility criteria for all the courses is to get a minimum of 50% in the qualifying exams. For course-specific eligibility, one can check them under the respective courses.
2).Do you consider 45% or 49% in 12th?
No, the minimum qualifying score for admissions is 50% in the qualifying exams.
3).Scholarship criteria?
We offer three types of scholarships/financial aid; 1. Merit-based scholarships, 2. Sports Scholarships and 3. Need-based financial aid.
4).Does AURO takes the entrance exam? If yes, what is the structure
Yes, there is an entrance exam required as per the requirement of courses. AURO Entrance exam consists of multiple-choice questions ranging between 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
5).Date of class commencement?
Classes usually start in mid-July or early August
6).Is it a part-time course?
No, all the courses offered by AURO University are full-time courses.
7).Can we work while studying?
Since all the courses offered by AURO University are full-time courses, it is not allowed for students to work while studying. However, students are required to go for internships during their summer or winter breaks, as required by their courses.
8).Placement organizations?
Our students have been placed within India in quite a few places like Deloitte, The Hindu, Orchidea, Amarchand Mangaldas and many more!

Our students have been placed within India in quite a few places like Deloitte, The Hindu, Orchidea, Amarchand Mangaldas and many more! Our B.SC – HM students goes to USA for their fully paid internship.
10).How do we know AURO is legitimate?
AURO University is established under the Gujarat State Private Universities Act, 2009 and is listed under u/s 2(f) & 22 of the UGC Act, 1956
11).Do you send abroad for Placements/ internship?
Only students of Hospitality Management (undergrads) are sent for their paid international internships globally.
12).No. of seats in the course
It depends on the different courses, it may range between 30 to 60 depending upon the intake of courses.
13).Quota (SC / ST / OBC / management)?
At AURO University, we don’t offer admissions on a quota basis.
14).What is the procedure for students who have done 10th / 12th / Graduation from abroad? How will AURO University consider the grade point scores?
AURO University is certainly open to students who have done their 12th / Graduation from a recognized education system abroad. Please do not hesitate to apply.
15).How do you evaluate the quality of education being delivered at AURO?
Quality of education should be measured in terms of industry-relevance of curriculum, diversity of learning experiences for a student, level of preparedness of a student in applying the research-oriented approach to solving complex problems, and response of the end-user (employer) to the product (graduate) in terms of acceptance.
16).Can each student choose to study whatever courses she/he wants?
A student has to study certain prescribed compulsory courses. Apart from these, there are elective courses which a student can choose from the list of available courses. Thus, the curriculum is a blend of compulsory and optional courses.
17).How is the curriculum structured?
The curriculum is structured in consultation with eminent members of academia and industry professionals. The curriculum is comprehensive and gives exposure to basic sciences, mathematics, social sciences, and communication skills apart from professional courses, research projects and hands-on in industry.
18).Who is on your faculty?
We have doctorates and Masters as our faculty members. In addition to the above faculty, AURO University has Mentor Professors, who are senior academicians of repute. Founding Professors are eminent members of academia and industry, who epitomize academic excellence in their own domain. Faculty members follow a student-centred approach to the teaching and learning process.
19).What is the Internship Program?
The Internship Program provides AURO students with an opportunity to gain experience while working in an organization on real-life projects of high relevance. It will be conducted in the organization where they will be treated as quasi-employees and will have to follow the code of conduct and regulations of the organization. It will be a meaningful and rewarding experience for both the student and the organization. Continuous guidance will be provided to the student by a dedicated faculty and a mentor provided by the organization. They will provide academic inputs, supervise the work and conduct evaluations at regular intervals based on professional and personal skills.
20).What is the University’s policy on ‘Ragging’?
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. There will be strong vigilance to ensure enforcement of the policy. Please note that Ragging is a criminal offence as per the University Policy.
21).How secure is the campus?
AURO University at Surat is a walled campus with a single entry and 24-hour security. In addition, state-of-the-art security technology is being deployed to ensure complete safety for all residents.
22).What is the provision for girls’ residences on Campus?
A separate hostel is reserved exclusively for female students, with an access-controlled entrance and exit. All hostels have full-time Wardens and security personnel around the clock. Hostel Students cannot leave the campus without an exit pass from the Warden.
23).How good is the medical facility on Campus?
We have the arrangement to take care of the first-level assistance within the campus. All minor hospitalizations are taken care of through tie-ups with local hospitals.
24).What is the fee structure for various programs being offered by the University?
