AURO University is organizing a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “The Corpus of Bharatiya Knowledge System – I (Vedas),” aimed at fostering deeper understanding and appreciation of India’s rich intellectual and spiritual heritage.

This session will explore the foundational texts of Indian civilization—the Vedas and Upvedas—shedding light on their structure, relevance, and the timeless contributions of Maharishi Ved Vyasa. Participants will also engage with critical elements of Vedic literature, including:
- Vedangas – the six limbs of Vedic study
- Six Vedic Darshanas – core philosophical schools
- Vedanta Traditions – major schools of thought that shaped Indian philosophy
Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s vision of integrating indigenous knowledge systems into contemporary education, this FDP offers an invaluable opportunity to explore ways to embed Bharatiya Gyan Parampara within modern academic frameworks.
